What's a one-page passport?

A one-page passport is what you get when you are being deported. Cuffed until you are deposited on the plane, uncuffed only when the door is closed. Only given your papers when you land on foreign soil, your home. When the local immigration guys see the one-page passport, they want to know what you were in for.

The Essays or counsels, civil and moral, of Francis Ld. Verulam, Viscount St. Albans

And let his travel appear rather in his discourse, let him be rather advised in his answers, than forward to tell stories; and let it appear that he doth not change his country manners, for those of foreign parts; but only prick in some flowers, of that he hath learned abroad, into the customs of his own country. -- "On Travel"
